Great for carpet

I was looking for a vacuum that had cord rewind and HEPA filter and this is the only one on the market that checks every box! Bonus that is has LED lights and the non-hair wrap brush. It works AMAZING on my thick carpets. It picks up so much dust each time and has not gotten tangled at all so far. It does get warm, but not so much that I'm concerned about fire. It's super easy to clean as well. I would say it does not work as well on my tile floor, so if you are looking for a hard-floor only vacuum I would not get this one, but for carpets it is great. I can't believe it was only $99 on sale! Definitely worth it for that price.

It’s a lil bit heavier than I expected but the ease of use has made up for that. The one thing that I can tell will be an issue over time b/c it already is a little, is the retractable cord. It’s already stopping short of pulling all back in and you have to mess w it pulling back out and pushing the button hoping it will go back in. I’ll probably just rap it around the thing. All in all I do like it.

excellent vacuum!

I have tried Dyson, Electrolux, Oreck. This Bissell is way above each of them. First, I love the filter system. It has a HEPA filter, so the smell of dust, dirt, and dog hair isn't blowing back out from the vacuum. It has internal filtration as well. it is titled "allergy and pet vacuum," and it definitely performs that way. I love it and my cleaning lady loves it. I noticed she was carrying it upstairs to use it instead of the ones I have up there. I'm getting rid of the Oreck and the Electrolux and replacing it with a second one of these Bissell. Although my vacuum is a few weeks old, I purchased the filter replacement, and they were not expensive at all. I did not have to because you can wash the current filters. but I wanted to have some on standby.
