This trash can is super pricey but I love it! It will be the last kitchen trash can I ever buy. It's heavy duty, sleek, and I absolutely love the no lid concept! While I'm cooking my hands are always full so not having a lid is a major plus in my book. Also, it's extremely easy to change the bag as a standard 13gal trash bag easily fits in it.

If it's possible for a trash can to exceed your expectations... well, this one does. I was replacing a can with a foot-operated lid that was better in theory that it was in use and to be honest, I was apprehensive about an "open top" design. The Simple Human product is great and I really like the way the top holds the liner in-place. FYI... a standard 13 gal drawstring kitchen bag fits perfectly.
