Great for newborn

This car seat is super safe, comfortable, and easy to install. The ClearTex fabric is a huge plus—soft, breathable, and free of added flame retardants. I love the added zip-off canopy, and the padding is cozy for newborns and growing babies. I love the rebound bar for more stability and leg room, and installation on the go without the base is easy and feels secure. However, it's on the heavier side, I think about 10lbs. My baby is only 16lbs and I struggle to carry him in it. On the other hand it's compatible with a Chicco stroller though I don't have one. Bottom line: If you want top safety, easy maintenance, and cleaner materials, it's a great choice—just be ready for the extra weight.
