Heats food quickly, glass plates remain cold and only food is warmed up, ceramic plate is heating together with food. Extra wide plates will not fit, but it is perfect for bowls, medium diameter plates, tall objects.

I bought this for my mom to replace the one that stopped working. she LOVES it 🤗. only problem is the quick cook buttons. The other one used the one touch method (1=1minute 2=minutes Etc.) and would start automatically. This one requires pushing 1(Etc.) and then the START button, sounds simple, but she has early dementia and couldn't figure it out. I wrote the "how to operate" and taped it on the side 🙂. She's been using it, so far so good 👍. It has a child lock as well, but that can be disabled, Thankfully 🙂.
