I only tore off a corner because the smell was pretty strong (I could smell it before i even opened the package. As the smell fades I plan to tear the remainder of the top off.

The air seems significantly less damp around my Odor Genie, and this may be attributed to the product's charcoal material. While the charcoal in the product causes it to have a strange appearance and texture, it has been very beneficial in absorbing the foul odors of my home. Having tried other air fresheners in the past (with mixed success), this product lasts much longer than other air freshening products, and the Odor Genie is supposed to last sixty days. The Odor Genie is also very versatile, as it can be placed anywhere from a bathroom or kitchen to an RV or car. All in all, this product has been very successful in removing musty odors, and it has been a great solution for my home!
