A handsome thing for short people like me who can use it under a desk of standard height (whiuch is way to high for me) or at the kitchen counter. It's well designed and a snap to set up (hex screw driver included in box). It must be poular, because Walmart had no trouble locating one and shipping it to me. I think it arrived two days after I ordered it. Finally, Walmart charged less than any other website that sells it.

I'm getting older and can't quite climb into my bed like I used to. I find myself having a hard time stepping into the bathtub to take a shower. This bed stool was perfect. It is most definitely solid. You can feel it the first time you step on it. The shower steps added much more safety. It was light weight enough to move between the bed and shower. It was compact, not taking up a lot of room. I've ordered a second stool only because I got tired of moving it between the bed and shower. Plus, it saved me a ton of money thinking the "only" option I had was to spend a ton of money on a "walk- in shower" . Please. This product not only saves you money but it also gives you a bit of exercise stepping on to the stool. It's a win-win for me anyways. :)
