Wonderful product. Buy it.

I used this on a tub and shower surround that hadn't been cleaned in about a year with only bar soap having been used in a hard water well situation. I bought three packs of these thinking, should they work, I'd have to go through that many to get the shower/tub clean. I still have most of the first one left. I hate cleaning the shower. Hate it! It gets put off until it's so bad I have no choice but to clean it. With the hard water I have the soap scum and lime get thick. My husband only uses bar soap and the area he puts the bar becomes thick. In past I've had to take a pot scraper and scrape the scum down so the chemicals, I've tried tons of brands, can work. Then along with the chemicals I'd have to scrub with a green scour pad. I took one of theses in the shower with me thinking I'd check it on one of the worst areas while I was in there. What did I have to lose? Tried it on an area under the soap holder where the scum was thick. First few passes the sponge sort of didn't want to slide along easy and I thought it was going to turn out to be useless junk. Then about the fourth or fifth swipe it moved along smoother. Few more swipes and there was the shower wall no scum! I honestly couldn't believe it. Scraped the area with my nail - no scum. Smooth and clean. I wiped on. Same thing. By now I'm really in awe. No way it's this easy. After my shower I cleaned down the entire shower and tub with little effort. I cut one into quarters and used a piece to wipe out a line of calcium buildup in a toilet and to clean the bowl getting it really white. No chemicals needed. It was barely gone when I was done. Used another quarter to clean the stainless steel sink getting the water spots up. A few points: They work best if you DO NOT scrub hard. Just wipe back and forth. Pressing hard seems to make them stop working. The first cleaning of my really bad tub got 100% of the soap scum and 90% of the hard water spots. I followed up with a squirt of LimeAWay spray and a paper towel to get the rest off. No more effort than cleaning a mirror. Not once did I scrub. The toilet had that hard thin line of calcium on the water line. I wiped over it until it was gone. Once again just wipe over and over don't scrub. They look like magic erasers but obviously are different. They sort of disappear as you use them leaving the blue sponge. I've not used up a whole one yet. Don't buy this and expect it's going to wipe the crud away in one swipe. Maybe if you clean every single day and have no build up, but if you have need of these you probably don't. You're going to have to wipe back and forth a few times to get the gunk gone. The main points are that these work without the need to scrub or the use of chemicals. You got a lot of scum and stains it's gonna take longer to remove and you may need a little chemical intervention to finish up the details. This isn't going to get stains out of plastic/vinyl type surrounds that have sunk in bellow the surface. Most likely nothing will. Try the LimeAWay spray on those. I have already taken the pad back into the shower with me and wiped down while I was in there. If I keep that up I'm never going to have to scrub or breath chemical fumes again. Walmart I have a question Why did these go up almost $2 since I ordered them? Not paying that price. I'll be shopping around.

Soap Scum Eraser

I recently had back surgery and cleaning the tub was the hardest thing to do. I had a major ring around the tub as I take baths every day. The soap Scum Eraser was the best product I have tried and I have tried them all. Without much pressure I was able to get the tub clean!
