Lipton is the ONLY brand I buy. I love the smell of freshly brewed tea like most people love the aroma of their morning coffee. I'm sure tea lovers would love hot Lipton tea. I drink iced tea year-round and by the quart size Mason jar in the summer!

Best Tea

Lipton tea is the best tea available, just plain facts. Boil a pot of water and add 3-6 bags. Turn down the heat and simmer for five minutes. Turn off the heat, cover and let set for another five. Add two cups sugar to a gallon jug, pour hot tea over sugar and mix until the sugar is dissolved. Fill the jug the rest the way up with water. Fill a glass full of ice and pour you a glass of tea. Thats going to be Southern SWEET tea. So, says this Alabamian of many, many generations. It is sweet, so diabetics and others, just leave out the sugar. But, then you are missing out on one of the south's most famous drinks. A splash of lemon is acceptable...

Easy to brew iced tea. Add 1-3 bags, depending on the strength of tea you want, add to a pitcher and fill with hot water. Let cool and refrigerate over night. I remove the bags once the water cools. My favorite way to enjoy this is adding Sweet and Condensed Milk, add your ice, and the tea and enjoy. Had it like this in Hawaii a few years back, called “black tea with Thai walls.” So good!
