New formula is sweeter

I tried the new formula and thought it was fine. It still looks the same (still looks like oats!), and I appreciate that there's much less salt than the old formula. The new flavor is different - sweeter, almost artificially sweet, and less maple-like. But I top mine with some granola and berries anyway, so didn't notice the flavor as much. I still like this better than any other instant oatmeal I've tried.

Well, it tastes like Maple

I was looking to add some much-needed fiber to a diet. The diet is temporary; I've just gotten new dentures. I've never had this brand of oatmeal before, so I cannot compare it to the previous blend. The flavor is good for oatmeal, the texture is good for new dentures, however I am like the others...the sweetness almost tastes like artificial sweetener. It has that type of aftertaste to it. All in all, I'm going to eat the rest of the two boxes I purchased, but maybe try a different flavor next time.

Miss the original

So disappointed to see that the original Bob's instant oats are no longer available. These are mediocre, similar to Quaker or generic instant oats. There was something unique about the original version that gave it more texture and prevented it from getting so mushy. Just a personal preference.
