These trays are perfectly easy to prepare. I normally put 1/4 to 1/2 inch of non-stick spray around the top of the tray to ensure that things don't boil over. I also normally stir in a 2.6oz pouch of tuna and a 4oz cup of peas to add some protein, some color, and to generally make me feel like I'm eating something more healthy. The best parts of this product are the facts that, unlike the blue box, I only have to add water into the tray and microwave it for 3.5 minutes instead of having to have milk and butter and a dirty pot to wash.
