Elegant but a workhorse multifunction knife

I have purchased several of the cuisinart classic knives, and they are great. Elegant style, nice weight, very comfortable in my hand. So far they have stayed sharp. So I was excited to see they now offer the nakiri knife. It's a great multipurpose knife that makes meal prep easy, especially if you chop tons of veggies. Sturdy enough for root vegetables, grooves on the sides makes slicing easier as the veggies slide off the blade. Pretty enough to leave out but is a workhorse as well. Also, cleaning them is easy since the blade and handle are one piece, no grooves or edges to catch food.

Decent, sharp knife

I purchased this knife as a replacement for a higher end nakiri knife ($60) that wore out. I was pleasantly surprised by how well this knife cut the various vegetables I used it for. Comparatively this knife is not technically as sharp as the more expensive one but for my purposes it worked great. Perhaps if you were cutting super fine, detailing cuts it might matter but for my purposes (dicing and cutting vegetables) it provided good, clean accurate cuts. I also appreciate the little blade cover which makes storing it safer.
