No Waste, No Worries

This is one of the items I'll splurge on, so I'm glad there's a Great Value brand that's more affordable. I haven't tried many other brands of lactose-free milk, but the GV brand tastes really good and I don't worry about it upsetting my stomach like regular milk does. It also seems to stay colder longer. Before discovering lactose-free milk, I bought organic milk because it stayed fresher longer, and I've noticed the LF milk is the same way. I don't have to worry about it going bad and being wasted. Since I'm not throwing out spoiled milk, I think the cost difference is worth it and probably evens out in the long run.

Lactose free skim milk stays fresh longer

Walmart brand lactose free skim milkhas good flavor, doesn't have the funny aftertaste of the name brand but stays good in the fridge for a couple weekslike the name branf.. I don't use enough milk to be able to buy skim milk which goes bad in a day or two. I am not lactose intolerant so I can't speak to whether someobe who is lactose intolerant could drink the Great Value brand without issues but this lasts in the fridge long enough for me to be able to use it up before it goes bad and tastes good.

If you are lactose intolerant and don't like the taste of plant-based 'milk', this is perfect. I think it tastes better than regular milķ, definitely better than 0% or low fat milk as it is creamy. You can get generic brand milk for less, but it's worth it for me because I only use or cereal or drink on the rare occasion.
