Easy bottom needle %26 pod assembly maintenance

After seeing how much gunk collects around the bottom needle I've started using one of these every Saturday. Our Keurig is at least six years old and I want to keep it running strong by doing upper needle flushing regularly and using these cleaning pods for the bottom needle and bottom of the pod reservoir. Much easier than taking the entire pod assembly apart and cleaning each piece by hand. These pods are essentially a baking soda type mixture and there is such a satisfying fizz when running a cycle with these pods. Super easy to use!

I didn't think that the rinse pods would make a difference in the taste of the coffee, but after using them, they loosened up all the debris so when I poured warm water in there, it cleared everything out and the coffee lost that bitter taste. It was very smooth and enjoyable. Will definitely recommend that people with Keurig use these rinse pods.
