Hob - From Ambient - For Tender, Fluffy Rice:. In a 3-quart saucepan, combine all ingredients according to chart. Bring to boil. Turn heat down low and cover with a lid. Simmer 15 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork and serve. Note:. For high altitudes, use slightly more water and allow 5 minutes longer cooking time. I can only eat two types of rice : Instant Rice %26 Parboiled rice. My digestion system only does its best with Instant Rice (any brand) %26 Any brand Parboiled Long grain Enriched. This rice cooks quickly and makes a tasty rice bowl over the stove top in around 20 minutes kitchen time. I like adding fresh chopped Garlic %26 BBQ sauces.
