(8 pack) Bush's Large Butter Beans Beans, Canned Butter Beans, 16 oz Can

Served these on a charcuterie platter with Kalamata olives, a block of asiago cheese, sliced pepperoncini peppers, goat cheese and real Italian dry salami. On the side….freshly sliced French sourdough bread and rosemary focaccia bread from the Arizona Bread Company with fig jam and whipped butter on the side. I seasoned these delicious BUTTER BEANS with finely minced garlic, finely chopped basil, a small amount of grated red onion, ground cumin, pink salt and ground pepper. I drained the liquid from the beans first.

I prefer many of the Bush's brand products. They've been around for as long as I can remember and I trust their can bean varieties. One day I purchased some butter beans from a different store and a different brans, they were terrible. With Bush's brand butter beans you get nice firm yet soft tasty butter beans. Few if any skins are floating in the product....normally one or none. I like to heat the butter beans until they are very hot, pour in a bowl, add pepper, and a little scallions/onions on the side along with some oyster crackers. I can make a meal out of them almost like one would eat soup. Of course, they make a great family side dish.
