I've been using this since I was a teenager, and even now in my 30s everytime I try to switch to something else, my skin will have small breakouts. Even if the facewash has the same main ingrediant it doesn't work as well! I use it as a mask once a week and a regular face wash everyday.

Excellent for Oily Skin and Breakouts

The clay Neutrogena facial wash and mask is fantastic! It. It can be used by adding a little to your face and then washing/scrubbing or it can be put thinly on your face and allowed to dry. I do it the second way. The benzoyl peroxide settles my skin breakouts and the clay helps to dry my ever so oily skin.It works as a “spot” treatment too. I come back to it time and again because it is amazing and inexpensive. Fragrance is clean and refreshing. This IS NOT an incentivized review. There is one precaution. The peroxide can bleach clothing and towels. Be aware of this and it's all good.

Works really well

My dermatologist recommended this for my extremely bad acne prone skin. She told me this is what she uses, and she was definitely right about how great it is. I have been using this face wash everyday for a couple years now and it's absolutely amazing at keeping my acne away. I really love that you can use this as a wash or a face mask. If I have a bad breakout it's perfect for using as a mask while in the shower. It doesn't burn or irritate my face that much, and I actually find it to be gentle for how effective it is. I can't imagine ever finding a face wash I like better than this.
