Yummy

Great item. I "hook this up" with the frozen onion and pepper blend, add frozen shrimp at the end, cajun andouille sausage, garlic powder, bay leaves, red pepper, and some other seasonings as needed. Boxed dinners will taste a lot better if you're good at sprucing them. I have cornbread as a side dish but you can easily have okra or other veggies. This is a really great base, especially for beginner cooks.

Raggin' Cajun Dish...

This one is absolutely delicious. Add some spicy sausage, chicken, or shrimp, or all three. I've made it with jalapenos, but it's a great side dish or a meal itself. Don't recommend adding salt cause it has a good taste to it already. Plus it's not very expensive, goes well with steak or chicken quarters too. Give it a try !!!

Great Taste, great price, prep time minimal.

I like Zatarains branded rice anyway, had to try the Jambalaya. I used a combination of Andouille Sausage and some chicken tenders. Made it for myself and a neighbor who's always strapped for time to cook. We all loved it! Great flavor, cooks up fast, the family size can feed a small army. If you want a flavorful and filling meal that can be ready in about 25 minutes, I highly recommend this .
