Diamond G: California Brown Rice, 5 Lb

Diamond G farmer select brown rice is the best rice ever. It has a nutty, meaty taste. Like all brown rice it does take longer to cook than other rices. Well worth the wait. It cooks very evenly and is somewhat sticky when cooked. I am very sad that our local Walmarts in the Oxnard, CA area do not carry this product. We are, however, able to buy it in Ventura from Mama Ya, a Japanese grocer on Main Street near Target. I hope our local Walmart will stock this in the future. We have cooked and eaten many different types of rice fromVon's, Trader Joe's, etc. and hads down IMHO Diamond G farmer select brown rice is the best rice ever. teo33

I never thought I'd write a review about rice. I thought this rice was a little pricey actually and bought it seeing no other brown rice. I'm not at all disappointed. It has excellent flavour.
