Great size for split king bed

California king blanket works well for our split king bed setup. This bright yellow blanket is super warm between our sheets and our oversized quilt. This blanket does not slide around like our fuzzy - super soft blanket we had before. It stays in place much better. So far, so good. We've only washed this once at the laundromat. Its just too big for our top load washer and dryer to clean it efficiently. This is not a plush blankets, its an old school cotton blanket. It has a bit of weight to it compared to the plush blankets. Its a good year around blanket - layer for extra warmth or use alone in the summer. The color is a bright, saturated yellow. Not neon, no orange tones - just yellow.
