Perfect tool for my job

I purchased the 1587 FC for the needs of my employment in the Generator field. The Insulation Test feature is perfect for me to test the alternator cables as is required for service or diagnostic. The ohm range is great for what I need it for, the thermometer is great to measure heat in a room to determine adequate ventilation and I love how fast Fluke meters give you a HZ reading. My only wish is that this meter was compatible with the Amp iFlex cable.

Great Functionality

I purchased this meter after having to deal with AFCI breaker tripping. I needed a way to show my customer that the work I did was fine and that this issue was equipment related. This meter proved that the cable was wasn't damaged and the problem was related to a winding or electronic issue with their equipment.
