The color is such a rich, deep, dark blue/green teal. It's a beautiful pot. I needed a pot, and thought this would serve the purpose, I had no idea I'd love it once I saw it in person. It's also really good for me b/c it's lightweight. I'm old and the strength of my youth as waned. I tend to put off working with plants in heavy pots. This pot is a sheer delight! Even with soil and a plant, it's still a manageable weight. The drainage holes are knock-out, so you can leave the pot as a cache pot, if that's what you would most love to use it for.
