My cat likes when I nap on the floor with him, but I'm 61 and sleeping on a hard floor is no longer comfortable for me. Didn't want the inconvenience of an inflatable mattress, so decided to try this. For me it, would be a bit low to sit on, but opens up nice and long. It is not too soft and not too firm. Folds up easily into the chair position and it is light enough for me to move it around the house to where I want it.
