Bigger than expected! It arrives air compressed and tightly packed, instructions are clear on how to allow it to fluff up. I thought it would be actual "beans" or sand like it used to be back in my day but they are soft foam curls so it does not make that "sand" or "bean" sound. It's actually fluffier because of that. My 9 year old son loves it for his room, he even slept in it over night! It's even big enough for adults. I'm happy with the quality. It's a good purchase.
