1- Pull out the insole that came in your shoe, and place it on top of Dr. Scholl's insole with the heels lined up and fabric side facing up on both. 2- With a pen, trace along the toe area of your original insole to mark a line onto the Dr. Scholl's insole. Then trim the toe area along the line. 3- Slip Dr. Scholl's running shoe insoles into your sneakers with fabric facing up.

Good for older, heavier runners
These things are very helpful for old, fat runners. Some arch supports can overdo and actually hurt your ankles, but amount of arch support in these is just right. The cushion is soft but durable, and I've never had them delaminate with one of the layers becoming a painful, rolled-up wad under my foot. My only concern is that the company might change the recipe at some point.
