First off, this product is exactly as pictured. Putting it together was a study in incremental progress, but it wasn't hard. By myself (a woman in her 40s) it took about 3 hours all together. the quality is decent; it is a mixture of solid wood pieces and compressed pieces, with light particle board backing. The pre-drilled holes were precisely places. There were plenty of extra pieces if anything got lost. *A NOTE* - following the order of a similarly designed hutch I previously put together, I attached the legs first. I found out why they had that step near the middle, because it was a little cumbersome to attach the base to the body. BUT I'm still glad I did the legs first, as it takes so much torque that it would have put too much stress on the joints of the body to do it in the order listed. I stand by my decision. The drawers do not quite roll in and out of the tracks smoothly, but I'm pretty sure this is user error, as this has never been my forte when putting together furniture. It is a beautify piece that fits perfectly where I wanted it, holds everything I hoped it would, and can be used in a different room if I ever want to redecorate. I am very happy with this piece.
