The base of this seat clicks in differently but once you learn to lean it down to click in, it's a breeze. Can't beat the price of this seat. I ordered an infant insert. I purchased this car seat as part of a mission drive that my church is helps with. These car seats will go to Moms/Dads who go through , and participate in a great baby program in Calhoun Co. The car seats are delivered to the church unopened, so I have no personal knowledge of how the car seat works. The local organization that runs the program suggested this seat. It's pretty, and comes with either pink or blue pads. This purchase was WAAY to order online, and pick up at my local WalMart in Gadsden.
