Buy this!! Its awesome. We tested our tap water and it had 235 impurities and went right to 0 with this system. We also tested bottled water which is 0. This pays for itself in the long run and helps save our environment from all those plastic bottles!!

It's all about the filter.
It's all about the filter. I finally replaced my 10 cup zero water system for the 7 cup unit. The design of the 7 cup pitcher is barely adequate. The top comes in two pieces that are a challenge to line up properly for a secure fit. Attaching the filters are a challenge as well. It is difficult to align the threads for a secure leakproof fit. But it is really all about their superior filter that purifies my water. That is what is most important to me, but having a better designed pitcher would be ideal.

Horrible pitcher
The machining of the pitcher is HORRENDOUS. Really cheaply made compared to Brita. The cartridge doesn't fit well and it took me 30 minutes to screw it properly. Otherwise filter itself was good and did a much better job than Brita. I live by my own and this one filter lasted exactly one month. A bit pricey.
