Unique Loom Geometric Diamond Decatur Area Rug or Runner

I posted the below review with the purple accents design. The first day we had it, my daughter dropped a bit of water on it and to my dismay, the spot turned yellow immediately. After some research, I found out jute turns yellow once water touches it, as the fibers release some oils and absorb the water, it is an ordeal to try to restore it. I dabbed a little vinegar in it and it did no good. My initial goal with this rug was to be able to spot treat it as was needed, now I won't be able to do that! I'm still giving it four stars because I'm all for more natural rugs and hate the synthetic toxic ones, and I don't think the jute is a major deal breaker, as many people own jute successfully. If you plan on using this rug where there won't be so much foot traffic, and you have no kids to spill something on it every 5 mn, then this rug is for you. I loved everything about it and would have kept it if it had been 100% cotton as was advertised (no jute). For me, the jute was a deal breaker.
