Eggs slid easily across the surface of the pan. It came with care instructions (nothing complicated, such as "don't cook over high heat," "don't add cold water to hot pan," etc.) Using the proper use and care of the pan, I expect it to last us many, many years. The grip handle is very comfortable and steady. Clean up is a breeze.

This is a well-designed, fairly priced, large frying pan. I have used Tramontina Professional line fry pans for years and recently needed to replace my 12-inch pan. Walmart used to have their own version of this pan made by Tramontina which was a little cheaper and the only discernable difference was it had two bolts securing the handle to the pan instead of the retail version's three. If you can find that version it is every bit as good as this one. Either way, this is a great addition your kitchen. My only caveats are that you should only clean this pan by hand as a machine washing can damage the non-stick coating and find a good lid to use with it. Otherwise, the pan is a good weight, cooks evenly, and consistently. Recommended.
