Wow!! I am so happy with this desk! Two important points to make here . . . my desk did not have a "protective film" on top of the desk that had to be pulled off. Some complained about a "sticky" residue. So, that was no problem. Next, I am a woman (68 years young) and I was able to put this desk together by myself. The reason why is because half way through, I turned the two bases right side up and then attached them together . . . and then put the two tops on (working from under the desk to attach). Worked awesome! And lastly, this is a well made desk. The directions are perfect. All parts were included (including tools). Came in two boxes and was packed well. Even though the box had some damage in shipping, the desk was perfect.
