South Shore Gascony 4-Shelf 58" Bookcase, Black

I know alot of people on here have not been happy with the condition their bookshelf was in when it arrived. I did not have any problems with things being broken either time i purchased this item. There was a very small chip on one piece of the trim that was easily fixed with a little Elmer's glue and the handy black pen that comes with the shelf. The second time I got this, there was a small scratch on one other piece of trim. Nothing was cracked or damaged other than that and the pen had come in useful for touching up other furniture I have. This bookshelf looks great and everyone is always surprised when I tell them I got it from Walmart. They think i paid hundreds of dollars for it. It is very sturdy and does not tip over like the lighter, cheaper bookshelves Walmart sells. I bought one and immediately ordered a second one because I loved it so much.

Good value, cheap back board though and could do with continuous peg holes to allow more shelving, very easy to put together despite somewhat confusing directions, only took 90 mins or so.
