Not a total deterrent for boy dog licking

While this collar was seemingly comfortable for our boy Dog German Shepherd, and relatively easy for me to fit around his neck. the plastic zip on collar was way too short, and he was able to chew it and mash it down and reach over it to get to licking the parts we were trying to prevent him from licking. we did appreciate the flexibility of the plastic part of the collar when he was bumping into all the furniture in the house. It just needs to be a bit longer/taller for the extra large dogs they're supposed to be suited for.
