1st how to use. IF possible (such as a tubless car tire (high pressure), this patch MUST go on the inside of the tire. IT IS MUCH easier to use a T handle tool & a "Tire Plug". Those kits run $5-$20. Instructions are fairly simple & are the same or similar to tire shops.
TUBED bike tire: remove the tube being careful to not pinch it during removal or especially replacement of tube & tire, (a common problem). Inflate the tube SOME, enough to identify the hole(s). ALSO locate on the tire where the hole occurred, frequently you'll find something stuck in the tire just waiting to repuncture the tube. If you have more than 2 or 3 holes, Buy a new tube! Use fine gritt sandpaper if you have any instead of the scraper on a slighty larger area than the patch will cover. Use a clean dry cloth to wipe any dust away. Use glue per instructions, usually on the tire's tube not the patch, let dry (some until tacky others until completely dry) then peel plastic off patch & applying over center of hole. Use continuous pressure per instructions, usually 1 to 5 min.
INFLATABLE:s beds, river tubes, pool lounges etcetera: 1st off IF THIS IS A LIFE RAFT, Replace It!!! Don't gamble your life or anyone else's life on a patch. SAME AS TUBE EXCEPT Do not use scratcher use fine 100, 150, 200.... or more grit sandpaper.
