Purchase this for emergency. When I lose power in my building again and it's cold, it will be used as a blanket covering. Holding body heat from my body, it also serves as a Sauna blanket for losing weight. Multiple purposes for such a little price. used indoors, and when camping.

These mylar blankets are great for putting in my windows to keep out solar radiation and keep the house cooler. Seem to be working great. You will want to put them directly on the glass, otherwize, you will be heating your house instead. And, do not sandwich your blinds between the mylar and the window glass because these reflect so well, that the space where the blinds are hanging will heat very hot and melt plastic blinds. I did a lot of research before I purchased these. Cutting them to size is recommended. They reflect the light back outside. The only drawback is they look weird from the street. But I am not concerned. This is a emporary fix for me. Saves money on a/c bill in the heatwave!
