Simpli Home Sawhorse Ladder Shelf-Finish:Medium Saddle Brown

I purchased the Sawhorse Storage Bookcase in the medium saddle brown to coordinate with the built-ins in my office. The color is even nicer in person, pretty and warm. The bookcase has an open, airy feel to it - the top 3 shelves are perfect for displaying my decorative items and photos, and I put my printer on the bottom shelf. While the 2 drawers are shallow, they are convenient for hiding away a few things. Be forewarned, you will have to put this together yourself. Since it is tall and solid wood, it gets a bit heavy as you go along. The instructions suggest having 2 people during construction, but I am experienced at putting together furniture, so I decided to go it alone. I managed well even though I am only 5'2" and 103lbs, but if you are easily frustrated or get confused by pictorial instructions, I suggest enlisting a helper. The biggest hurdle I faced was getting the oversized box into the house from where it was delivered. It was well packaged with lots of styrofoam and cardboard bracing, and all the pieces and hardware were clearly labeled. As I worked, I needed to prop up one end on a short table and flip it upside down (compared to the instructions) when I began installing the bolts into the shelves.
