Lodge does make some great cast iron and dutch oven cookware. This 5 quart Camp Dutch oven is no exception. It is well built and will provide me with many decades of service. On a side note, it does say it is pre-seasoned. Don't be fooled by this. That means it has maybe 1 coat of seasoning on it. After a lot of study, I have relied on this method of seasoning all of my cast iron and dutch oven products and it works great! Give it a try and do it BEFORE you start cooking in any of them.
