Just step up to the VUM, press the handle under the right corner of the worktop and push down or pull up to select a height that's just right for you anywhere along its 12-1/4" vertical adjustment range. Pneumatic operation of the worktop means you'll get some assistance raising the top surface and it'll stay where you set it without slowly sliding back down on its own. After you've found your ideal height, put down your laptop computer, stow your bottle of water in the on-board plastic cup holder and get to work. Store small but critical office supplies or personal items like your cell phone on the lower shelf of the VUM while you focus on getting things done up top. An integrated hook on the shelf even lets you hang up your computer bag or jacket so you don't accidently leave it behind when you roll on to your next task. And that lower shelf does not move when you adjust the worktop, so it'll always be waiting for you at the same height. Four pivoting wheels on the VUM give you the freedom to move to more compelling spots in and around your work area whenever you need a change of scenery or to find some inspiration.
