This versatile, easy-to-use and non-toxic powder dye is ready to deliver vibrant color to almost any type of fabric or fabric blend, including cotton, linen, silk, wool, rayon, ramie or nylon. Perfect for rejuvenating faded clothing, changing the color of apparel, shoes or accessories, coordinating home dcor, hiding laundry accidents and so much more. Looking to create something unique? Rit has been tie-dyeing clothing and dcor for decades. Its also the perfect tool to create an ice dyed, dip dyed, marbled or shibori pattern. It can even dye wood, wicker, paper and cork. Whether you are rescuing faded jeans, creating a costume or decorating for a party, all you need is a washing machine, plastic container or stainless steel sink to get started. With 500+ color recipes available on the Rit's website, it is almost certain youll find the right color for your needs.

Instructions
Not recommended for synthetic fibers (acrylic, acetate or fabrics containing more than 35% polyester). Instead, use Rit® DyeMore Synthetic Fiber Dye. **Package color reflects approximate results when dyeing white or off-white 100% cotton. **Tips: **One package will dye 1 pound of dry fabric (i.e. 2 adult large t-shirts). To achieve a darker or more intense color, double dye quantity. **For best results, add 1 cup of salt to dye bath for cotton, rayon, or linen. Add 1 cup of vinegar to dye bath for nylon, silk or wool. **If dyeing to a lighter or different color, use Rit Color Remover before dyeing to lighten existing color in most fabrics. **Use Rit® ColorStay Dye Fixative immediately after dyeing cotton, linen or rayon to maximize color retention. **CAUTION EYE IRRITANT **READ PRECAUTIONS ON SIDE. **PRECAUTIONS: Contains salt. May irritate eyes or skin. Do not get in eyes on skin or clothing. **FIRST AID: If swallowed call Poison Control or doctor immediately. Do not induce vomiting.
