It includes a removable mat inside that heats up (extremely low heat) to give your furry friends a warm, concealed place to dwell. It has a 360 degrees zipper in the middle so you can completely remove the top, making it a warm, non-concealed kitty bed. My smaller kitten (8lbs) prefers the hood attached and my bigger cat (16lbs) prefers for me to remove the hood, but they both seem to like it. I like that all the materials are easy to clean and neutral in color.

If youre a cat owner, you know how a cat is drawn to a box or a bag and this is NO exception. The set-up was easy, in fact I had no more than zipped the two pieces together and plugged in the heating pad when my cat jumped right in. We love it so much we bought a house style heated unit also for our indoor/outdoor kitties. The house style has a clear heavyweight plastic door on both ends that easily is removed for the summer months and offers protection from the cold Minnesota winters. Buy your cat this heated, fun design. Youll never regret it. The only bad thing is the plastic smell, but I think it will disappear after a little time.
