A wise friend recommended to stay with KitchenAid because of durability and trustworthiness. What the heck, with my friend's recommendation and nothing to lose, I selected this reasonably priced less-fussy base model hand mixer. It does what I need it to, and I can hope for the longer life expectancy of better quality appliances. Plus the color is very cute.
