big enough for my 30 lb puppy. start out with the top off and put treats inside the base so the dog gets comfortable with it. After a couple weeks I can put the dog in here, close the door, and she lay down. I would like a handle, but I see why they didn't put one on this size cage. I paid $65 for this and I'm happy with the purchase.

it's a sturdy carrier. It has one opening for your fur baby to get in or out of. the top has a handle, no opening, no airholes. However, it has lots of airholes running along the top piece (cover). It is super easy to put together. Two pieces, top and bottom and the screws and wingnuts. No tools required. My Chihuahua/Fox Terrier fits very comfortable in it. She weighs 12lbs. 12in. Tall (I measured from top of head to ground) 17 in. laying down. I hope this helps. ;)
