We're traveling right now and it is light weight and flexible enough to take with us. Also. It is so easy to wash, since there are two separate stuffings zipped in. My dog loves this bed. We even put it in vehicle and he has some anxiety when traveling and I can say it does help him some with his shaking and he lies down in it and seems to really like it. He feels like he is being snuggled in it. My puppy is 16lbs so he is a black mouth kerr not real big in size but he has long legs and he does well with the size I bought. If you have a bigger dog go with a larger size. But this is meant to be a comfort bed so it's not supposed to be huge and your dog not feeling like it is cuddling him or her. I really like it.

Dog Bed Hugs my Fur-buddy!
It is well made with material that is super soft and the padding is nice and gushy. My Jack Russell sinks into the "crack" --between the side wall and center-- and feels "hugged" and loves his new "nest"! It also has a zipper so to pull out the stuffing if you want to wash the covering but the material does not show dirt or fuzz so I have not washed it yet. I got it on sale (30' bed for $33 and was $60!) and so was really a good deal beside a great bed!
