It was easy to assemble. I put the lats on once I placed it on my bed. I put this on a platform bed and made it perfect height. I felt my bed was too low. The only thing I would change is the cover. I wish it enclosed the whole thing. It fits like a fiited sheet would fit a mattress. It does stay in place. I would purchase again.
