Good coffee but some issues after a while

Makes very good, strong, hot, coffee. Have never used the lift away water tank because I read reviews that it begins to leak after a while. Bought this one as a gift after using one of my own for more than 5 years. Mine has developed a small leak from the bottom at year 4, but I purchased a rubber mat to place under it that solves the problem. The coffee it makes is good enough that I am still rating it highly because all in all, the price, the amount of time it has worked well, and how the coffee tastes overall beats most others I have bought in the past.

Brews really slow. The carafe is a twist off lid not a thumb press. The water tank is a slight hassle to remove and replace each time. My Dunkin coffee did come out flavorful but equally so with any new coffee maker. Save the $ and buy a Mr Coffee maker

There is no permanent filter included with coffee make. One has to buy it separately! One would not know this until the instructions are read. At least the carafe is included. Hooray! I am still working on getting the brew right-only have had the coffee maker a few days. So far the coffee maker is OK. Just very disappointed that the permanent filter is not included.
