If it's damp outside, the sand sticks to the wheels. Once inside, it dries and falls off the wheels, leaving a mess. This is so easy to store under my bed, so it's ready to use for a quick vacuum, so I don't have to get the big vacuum cleaner out and I don't get sand on my bare feet by my bed anymore. :-)
