Enjoying this blanket

It takes a bit to get used to sleeping under the weight, particularly if you're a restless sleeper like I am. However, I feel like I'm moving around less than I used to, now that I'm using this every night. After about a week's use, I believe I'm sleeping more deeply and feeling more rested when I wake up. I like the patterning on this, and so far haven't had any issues with the construction. If you're in a warmer climate, you may find this a little warm in the summer. It's taken the place of at least one blanket for me in a southeastern US spring.

This blanket is nice quality, nice color, and was exactly what I was shopping for, but it was way too heavy for me personally. I woke up with pain in my hips and back. I'm a little older and I'm sure that contributed to the problem. If I were to ever buy another one, I'd definitely buy this brand again, but I'd buy one lighter than 20 pounds. All in all, it was a really nice purchase. It just wasn't a great item for my older joints. Nice blanket though. Consider your joints and age before deciding which weight to buy.

Sleep Like a Baby

Purchased this as a gift for an adult who was having difficulty sleeping due to stress and anxiety issues. After just one night's use, they said they hadn't slept this good in years! I will be ordering additional blankets for several grandchildren who have problems with sleepwalking and one who has ADHD.
