Massively Useful
this right angle attachment is a lifesaver, one of the best attachments you could have in your arsenal. it is minor tool but extreamly handy.
Great product for the price
Buying this product as a toy to try but found it useful on a project, the same day of purchase. I tried all of the configurations and found that the screw on handle for the head unit got in the way for my application and removed it. 2 suggested update to this already OUTSTANDING product, 1)My drill has a light to see where I am drilling/screwing. It would be GREAT to have a light added to the head unit to see what I am screwing up/drilling. 2)as this GREAT Item has many parts not all being used at the same time, A storage case would be a Great idea for nuts like me who organize everything. I don't see a problem with using an old case I have laying around from something other crappy brand that I tossed out. Over all, I like the product, it was very useful and I will express my JOY of this new tool by Dewalt to friends and Family.
Useless for my company
I have purchased 50 or so of the old style because they worked great. The new style (this product) is useless for us. The reason someone needs a right angle attachment is small spaces. The bit (which this version does not come with, unlike the last version) goes in too far to be useful. Not enough of a regular sized short bit engages the screws we install, and switching to a longer bit is not possible. Also, the end of the tool also spins, so if you are running the screw into anything painted/textured/plastic, you will leave a mark. Finally, something binds which makes the tool feel cheap. The right angle part spins freely, the shaft part spins freely, but put them together and something binds. Unfortunately I will have to switch to another manufacturer for this tool because I need something that works.
