The Fonz would give these shirts an Aaaayh!

Take another look at this company (Gildan), they manufacture a myriad of high – quality products within an impressive trademark umbrella such as: Gold Toe®, Anvil® and Comfort Colors® brands and brand extensions, as well as the Secret®, Silks® and Therapy Plus™ brands. The Company also has the U.S. sock license for Under Armour®, and licenses for the Mossy Oak® and New Balance® brands. I just love these A-shirts! There some of the best I've personally worn and throughout the years I've purchased well-known reputable brands; just for the record. I'm so tired of these popular brands that sell inferior quality shirts (compared to Gildan) for outrages prices. As I write this review I'm looking online at a prominent clothing store and some of these types of A – shirts sell for $8.00 – $9.00 for ONE shirt! My favorite attributes include: 1. Tag – free (Love that). 2. Durable and well constructed, it appears they'll hold up for quite some time. 3. Nice wide and clean hem within the upper shoulder strap area. 4. Compressed yet comfortable fit. Cool in the summer, warm in the winter. I'm so happy with these A-shirts manufactured by ‘Gildan' that I can honestly say: I'll be purchasing their products in the future; from Walmart of course, and saving a lot of money in the process. If you'd like to find out more about ‘Gildan' quality, reputation or environmental friendly processes' you can visit their website here: http://www.mygildan.com/ Please note: As with any 100% cotton apparel there maybe some shrinkage (usually in length) when drying, I always dry my shirts using the low heat setting. Although I can wear a Large, go with an XL if you're concerned about losing any length post drying.

Nice summer wear

I bought these for my son who prefers to wear these in the summer months. They fit nicely and look great, he is very happy with them. These are very form fitting, not baggy at all. When they come out of the wash they look dramatically tiny but when you put them on they go back to form and fit perfectly again.

I like them - comfortable and extra long

I usually wear tank tops as external exercise wear. These are so called A shirts and are meant to be worn as an undershirt. They are thin, as befitting underwear, although some crew neck T shirts are much thicker. I personally really like the thinner material as underwear because I don't want the extra heat retention. In fact, that's the primary reason to pick A shirts over crew neck shirts. The packaging lists the content of the solid color shirts as 100% cotton and the grey shirt as 90% cotton and 10% polyester. The grey shirt I am wearing in the picture is very comfortable with a ribbed texture. I haven't had a chance to wash these, but I usually put cotton in the dryer rather than hang them up to dry, as I would with a polyester shirt. I would expect some shrinkage but also expect the shirts to bounce right back. As you can see, they are very form fitting (I'm 5'7”, 165#, 34W) so they should work well with other clothing on top. The arm holes are cut low so some perspiration may drip down if your outer shirt does not catch it. But hey, if you want better perspiration control, stick with the crew neck undershirts. One word of advice. Don't wear these out and about without over clothing unless you have a really athletic build. Just sayin'.
