Mali Kitchen Cart

The packing and protective packaging are excellent. The parts are cut and drilled precisely. The wood and wheels are solid. Assembly is a bit challenging. I proved that it is possible to assemble some of parts backwards. I even managed to put one of the shelves in backwards so the door would not shut. Starting the screws into the barrel nuts can be a bit frustrating at first. Fortunately and with a bit of patience everything went together. The end result is a good looking solid feeling cart.

Not too difficult to assemble, but time consuming because of the poor instruction manual. The assembly steps are just pictures, which is normally fine, but about 4-5 steps are illustrated in one picture so it takes a little while to determine what step you should do first. Additionally, the different parts are assigned a letter code in the assembly instructions diagrams, and there is a corresponding guide with drawings of each piece with their code underneath, but the actual physical pieces are not labeled with this code. This was only a problem one time, because two of the wood pieces look quite similar. But, once it is assembled it is quite impressive looking. All of my friends that have seen it have commented on how nice it looks. It rolls on my tile floor easily, and is a great addition to my kitchen. The only true complaint I have is that I do not think my unit came with a drawer stop for the top drawer, so I have to be careful about how far I pull the drawer out.
