These are actually blackout curtains and they help maintain temps. I have 5 sets if these white. Theyre thick and solid. They have white lining on the back. I have only had 1 panel that had tiny holes in the backing. It wasn't even bad enough to return. The white is white and I am not sure why others said the white was blue. I've never had a difference in colors and I've ordered them at different times over the course of a year. They do come stiff and wrinkled. I put them in the wash on rinse only in cold water, then I let them simi dry on the lowest heat. When they're just damp I take them out and hang them on the rod and let them finish air drying. I give them a quick spray with downy wrinkle release and when they're done they're barely wrinkled. This also softens them. The wrinkles will go away the longer they hang. It took about a week for my other sets to finally release their wrinkles. The ones in the attached pictures are brand new just hung and still damp.
